Sales Manager Ports and Terminals – Denmark & Germany

We are looking for a senior sales profile to build our business in Denmark and drive expansion into Germany. You will work with ports, terminals, and maritime operators, selling our Port Management Information System (PMIS) and related modules.

This is a build-up role across two markets. You will take a leading position in establishing Grieg Connect in Denmark and developing opportunities in Northern Germany.

Location
Denmark or Germany. We plan to establish a local office as part of our growth in these market.

About the role
You will be responsible for building pipeline and closing deals in Denmark, while also developing business in Germany. The role combines structured outreach with relationship-driven and consultative sales.

The work requires regular travel across Denmark and Northern Germany and on-site presence at client locations during sales processes, workshops, and follow-up.

Typical responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline in Denmark and Germany
  • Lead sales processes from first contact to signed contract
  • Run demos and workshops on-site with ports and terminals
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in both markets
  • Work closely with product and delivery teams to shape solutions
  • Contribute to market prioritisation and go-to-market approach
  • Represent Grieg Connect in meetings, events, and industry forums

What you bring

  • Experience from B2B solution sales within maritime technology (required)
  • Understanding of port operations, terminal workflows, or the maritime ecosystem
  • Proven ability to build a market and close complex deals
  • Strong commercial drive and structured pipeline management
  • Fluent Danish, English and German
  • Experience working across multiple markets is an advantage
