The new system will replace and consolidate existing solutions and support key operational areas across the port. The delivery includes port call handling, invoicing, work order management, rental administration, shift planning, reporting, and GIS-based operational views. The solution will be configured to the Port of Rauma’s operational model and integrated with relevant national and local systems.
The project will be delivered in phases, starting with a design phase followed by implementation. The objective is to establish a modern and well-defined system foundation that supports automation, data quality, and future development.
Our goal was to find a future-proof system that can modernise our processes and provide better structure and efficiency in daily operations,” says Janne Virta, CEO of the Port of Rauma. “Grieg Connect was selected based on the functionality of the solution, their experience delivering port systems in comparable ports, and their ability to support the delivery locally.”
We are proud to partner with the Port of Rauma, one of Finland’s largest and most diversified multipurpose ports,” says Espen Ranvik, CEO of Grieg Connect. “We will support the port with a local team and focus on delivering a solution aligned with Rauma’s operational needs and requirements. We appreciate the trust placed in us and look forward to the next steps.”
The Port of Rauma will use the system to coordinate services, manage work orders, maintain a common operational picture through GIS, and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
